Event Branding | Theme Development

Theme: In Motion
Goal: Each year, the marketing and leadership teams collaborated to define the core messaging for the upcoming conference. Typically, 2–5 key phrases were selected, which the design team then translated into multiple visual directions to explore impact and resonance. The strongest design direction was chosen and implemented as the official visual identity for the event.
My Role: I was responsible for theme development, asset creation, design production, and management of all show-related materials. I developed a cohesive visual system that translated seamlessly across multiple platforms while delivering an energetic, engaging client experience.
I also collaborated closely with leadership to stay within budget and partnered with multiple print vendors to ensure color accuracy, production quality, and precise application of environmental graphics and clings.
Pre-Event Overview Flyer
Created for pre-event promotion, this flyer highlights standout moments from the previous year and builds excitement by outlining what attendees can look forward to in the upcoming event.
Theme Assets
Once a theme and graphic direction is picked I created an “assets” sheet in order to keep consistency.
The visual theme incorporated three color variations, allowing for visual flexibility while reinforcing hierarchy across conference graphics and information displays.
Event Pods
Custom event pods were designed to reinforce key messaging and create a cohesive visual presence throughout the event space.
Signage
Event signage functioned as both wayfinding and environmental branding.
They where designed to provide clear key information and guide attendees through the space while extending the event’s visual system in a cohesive, immersive way.
Emails
A series of event emails extended the visual system into digital communications, delivering timely information while maintaining brand consistency and engagement.
Computer Lab Screen Saver
We wanted all spaces possible to be branded to keep things consistent and this included the screen savers for the lab rooms.
PowerPoint Slide
An event branded PowerPoint template is provided to all internal presenters.
Template includes: title, divider, questions and thank you slides, as well as a variety of body layouts.
Hotel Key Card and Charging Bank
We create a custom hotel room key card that attendees get to take home as a keep sake and continue the branding.
